Ÿ Take full responsibility for the chartering section to achieve team’s budget and/or strategic goal.

Ÿ Negotiate withcharterers concluding time charter party or voyage charter party or fixture notes

Ÿ Report cargoorder and analyze & research market

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

1. Develop clients/customers both in China and neighboring countries,establish and maintain good relationship with charterers

2. Carefully follow existing core/potential  charterers for future business

3. Maintain communication with ship owners and brokers in regards to keep fresh sense tothe dry cargo chartering market and expand parceling business independently 

4. Handle charterers’ enquiries and give indication / firm order.

5. Assistant GM for cost estimate especially voyage calculation, and tonegotiate freight rate/shipping terms until fixture

6. Report workable cargoorder to GM

7. Communicate with GM and other colleagues for daily chartering businessand market trends.

8. Assistant GM to analyze and research the market leading to the identification of opportunities

9. Assistant GM to analyze and research the market leading to theidentification of opportunity. Share of shipping market sense

10. Participant on oceanfreight rate suggestion and decision for project bidding

REQUIREMENT:

§  Deep understandingof custom & rules of China

§  Min 10 yearsworking experience at shipping company as chartering managers

§  Familiar withdaily operations of ships

§  Prefer Maritimebackground or ex seaman

§  Unexpectedincident problems solving skills

§  Strong teamworkspirits & communication skills

§  Understanding basiceconomic rules & geographical knowledge

§  Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and possess highly developed interpersonal skills

§  Able to interact effectively with both overseas and local customers

§  BachelorDegree in shipping
